Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday criticized the Israeli government’s “provocative rhetoric” and urged it to change its approach to the Palestinians in the face of escalating violence.

“We regret what is happening in Israel today,” Trudeau said in press releases. We condemn the rocket attacks launched by Palestinians from Gaza.

“We are very concerned about the provocative rhetoric of the Israeli government, we are concerned about the changes in the judiciary and the violence around the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Israel’s far-right Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, called for a harsh response from his country to rocket attacks from Gaza, saying on his Twitter account: “Hamas’ rockets requires more than blasting sand dunes and empty outposts. A serious response to any missile.”

“We need to see a change in the approach of the Israeli government, and as a dear, sincere and loyal friend of Israel, Canada said it is very concerned about the approach of the Israeli government,” Trudeau told reporters. We need to see a decrease in violence

The attack on al-Aqsa drew angry Arab reactions, but Trudeau’s comments were among the first to face violence Wednesday from Israel’s traditional Western allies.

On Wednesday night, Israeli forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque and used tear gas and sound bombs to evacuate its contents.

The channel “Palestine Today” announced that “occupation forces attacked Masjid al-Qibla” and pointed out that “occupation forces randomly fired rubber bullets at worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque ”.

The channel said, “As a result of the pressure exerted on Masjid al-Aqsa by the occupation forces, there were injuries to worshippers.”
